Bequest:
The donor will designate our organization, the Hospital Association Foundation as the beneficiary of your asset by will, trust or beneficiary designation form.
IRA Rollover:
The US Congress recently enacted a permanent extension of the IRA Charitable Rollover. As of this action, you can now make an IRA rollover gift in 2015, 2016 and beyond.
Beneficiary Designation Gifts:
You as the donor can designate the Hospital Association Foundation as beneficiary of a retirement, investment or bank account of your life insurance policy.
Charitable Gift Annuity:
Again as a donor you can transfer cash or appreciated property to our organization in exchange for our promise to pay you fixed payments (with rates based on your age) for the rest of your life.
Charitable Remainder Unitrust:
As the donor you transfer your cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable remainder unitrust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you with income for life for a term of years.
Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust:
The donor has the option to transfer cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable remainder annuity trust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you with fixed income for life or a term of years.
Charitable Lead Trust:
In this case, the donor will fund a trust that makes gifts to our organization for a number of years. Then your family receives the trust remainder at a substantial tax savings.
Sale And Unitrust:
the donor will give a portion of his/her property to a charitable organization to fund a charitable remainder trust, when the property sells the donor will receive cash and income for life.
Bargain Sale:
A charitable organization will purchase donor property for less than fair market value. The donor will receive cash and a charitable deduction for the difference between the market value and purchase price.
Life Estate Reserved:
The donor gives property to the Hospital Foundation but retain the right to use the property during your life.
Tribute Gifts:
Tribute gifts are given in honor or memory of a special person. These gifts are given in remembrance of a life, in recognition of a special occasion, or in appreciation of service in an organization. These tributes serve as a expression of honor and or recognition.
